Lesson Guidelines

Lessons are open to riders of all ages and experience levels. Our goal is a safe, positive, and enjoyable lesson experience for everyone.

⏰ 24-Hour Cancellation Policy

Lessons canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged in full.
This policy allows us to properly schedule instructors and care for our horses.

🪪 Waiver Required

All riders must have a completed liability waiver on file before participating in lessons.

🧢 Safety & Attire

• ASTM-approved riding helmet required for every ride
• Sneak Away Riding Club can provide a helmet during the first month
• Bicycle helmets are not permitted
• Long pants and hard-soled boots with at least a ½” heel are required

📅 Make-Up Lessons

Make-up lessons must be scheduled within the same month as the missed lesson.
Lessons missed during the final week of the month may be made up during the first week of the following month.

🤝 Barn Etiquette & Responsibility

Please treat our horses, instructors, and barn property with respect. Follow instructor guidance at all times and help maintain a safe barn environment.
